SURPRISING TURN IN MY LIFE

My husband and I started new in Hawaii two years ago. The move over went so fast and was so stressful that I barely could prepare for what was awaiting me in the new world.

My Last Christmas in Bremen

In Germany where I come from I left behind a small but beautiful working business as a life and learning coach and trainer that I have set up perfectly for me. In paradise, however, my life changed dramatically!

We founded a bike rental company, that was expanding fast. After several weeks in business, the amount of work was already overwhelming. Our business operation became more or less my life and I became a stranger in it. After only nine months of living that lifestyle my life did not make a lot of sense to me. I felt disconnected from myself and became sad and literally tired of my life.

Kilauea Eruption 2018, Fissure 18 – Pele’s creation. Isn’t she beautiful?

You may be surprised about this turn in my life but actually, the recent Kilauea eruption helped me to get back to myself and my own life.

I wanted to help and became a volunteer in The Hub in Pahoa.

The Hub was organized by private guys where I met many people who were less fortunate by the lava flow than us, who lost homes and practically their entire lives. I was able to help and experienced goosebumps all day long! It was magic!

And yes! It was also very challenging! And it changed many things, the business was gone, also the savings for our building project … and for living.

However, the lava is destroying and creating at the same time, and I followed these patterns. I recovered my dreams and goals, and it helped me to grow, and leaving the old, not supportive stuff behind. This was a starting point.

I decided not to get back to the bike business with my husband. I decided to do my own thing, re-building a foundation for my new business – a stage for my skills and healing abilities.

In Germany, I worked for about 10 years as an NLP-Coach (neuro-linguistic programming)
for private clients and as a Trainer for Scientific Skills at universities. My focus was on supporting my clients and students to learn how to make the best of themselves. I’m also skilled as a master and coach of hypnosis, Hoopono’pono, and Reiki practitioner.

Honda and Lani (Lani means sky in Hawaiian)

Honda and Lani (Lani means sky in Hawaiian) are rescue kittens. They came to our place to find healing and home.

I love being in nature, growing plants and working with healing stones. We have cats which like lots of attention. …

But my true mission is to serve YOU! To give you the support needed to become your REAL, TRUE YOU!

Here I am! Waiting on you to support YOU on YOUR way!

BECAUSE I WANT TO SEE YOU SMILE

Why do I want to help people? Because it feels good! And because it makes me goosebumps!

I love seeing YOU to growing, fulfilling YOUR SELF!

I love seeing YOU smiling!

With every smile, and every good decision this our world becomes a better place! This also let me feel better because we are all connected. Aren’t we?

DO YOU WANT TO BE HAPPY AND FULFILLED?

I built this website to encourage YOU to live up to you!

What does it mean?

It means to find your own way of being happy and fulfilled every day doesn’t matter what! It is easy?

Well, yes and no, it depends on your mindset and how much of you, you sacrifice every day fulfilling the demands of your family, your work, your social life.

Yes, God is always vibrating in each of my cells. I’m always carrying God in my heart. God is love and life. Every experience is given to us to grow. Our judgement only differentiates our experiences in good and bad. However, I know I sometimes should be quieter and listen more carefully to my heart!
I learned a lot on my journey, and I love to share with and to help others to find their ways to happiness and fulfillment.

  2. Good Morning Jenna,

Reading your story I am amazed at the turns a human life can take. Things happen in our lives and we often do not know why, only later, when looking back one understands.
I am 68 now and have traveled a lot in my life. When I look back I now understand why certain things had to happen. Beautiful moments, sad happenings, difficult and hard times, it all happened so I could grow. Wishing you success and happiness on your life path.

    Regards, Taetske

  3. Mahalo Jenna

I really enjoyed reading your life experience and the new journey that has come forth from what was then a sad and destructive force in the eruption.

However, you mention something that can be inspiring that that is and I quote from what you wrote above “However, the lava is destroying and creating at the same time, and I followed these patterns. I recovered my dreams and goals, and it helped me to grow, and leaving the old, not supportive stuff behind. This was a starting point.”

You have along the way gained much experience and skills and yet there was still something missing from within.

The eruption although many may not see at the time was in fact a blessing to you and what the future holds for you which I am sure you are finding now.

The fact you have gone forward in a postive way was and is the key to your future success in life. Be it online, helping other’s as you have mentioned and giving from the heart and soul of who you are.

I look forward in reading more of what you have to share for we all need that added boost at times to learn and grow.

With much Light & Love I send to you all the energies available for where it is needed most.

    Aloha and Namaste

    Andre

    • MAHALO, Andre! Light and Love gratefully received!!

I know the energies you sent will work for me and for all.
It is all about energy, about the balance of activity and stillness. In our society, we focus on activity. We are goal and accomplishment oriented.
But is a GOOD activity possible without also being still? Without cleaning up your mind and your gut after activity metabolism like the body cleanses itself after a long workday? It really does if we allow it to do so.
I say No. I was in touch with this seeming contradiction for a long time. My nature was the nature of a hard worker. I love to work 🙂
The Eruption brought extreme uncertainty, and it brought stillness. Many residents left Big Island not only because of the lava and the vog. They left because of the uncertainty. Also, my husband wanted to leave Hawaii. Middle in this uncertainty I was certain about that where I was, was the right place for me. I also know that we ALWAYS receive tasks that we can handle. My story isn’t about resilience. Yes, I’m resilient. Most of my life I was a thinker. I can analyze the information very well. As a scientist, I was trained in it.
This particular experience wasn’t about analyzing and making decisions. My lavastory is about how to feel, and only to feel. You know, Andre, that this is a longer story: To feel what is going on. To feel what to do. To feel how to help my husband feeling more comfortable during the unpredictable most potent lavaflow our time.
I did many “crazy” things during the eruption: I asked the wind to help to keep the Vog and Laze away from our place. And he did it most of the time. I asked Hiʻiaka to protect my plants. And she did. I even was able to keep my little Aloe Plants while on the lot nearby big beautiful Aloe Plants died. All of them.
I was in a process of Ho’oponopono for about five months when the Eruption happened. So I was already preparing for the happenings …
The “missing link” was to feel, to use my feelings as a guiding force in my present life experience. The Eruption was a gift given to me by Pelé. Pelé is one of the expressions of God. She brought me to Big Island and gave me home here.
And she gave me the gift to open to feel deep and strong.
Of course, there is a price to pay 🙂 I have to use her gift!
Here I AM. Ready to feel and ready to support and help others to feel.
Thank you for being my friend in Light, Andre!
Thank you for taking the time for reading and commenting! It means a lot to me!!
      Sending you love and light!
      Namaste dear friend
      Aloha back to you!
      Jenna

  4. Aloha, Jenna,

I was moved by your story, down to the bit about renting bikes, because exactly one year before the big eruption of 2018, I was in Pahoa.

And now many of the places I saw are all gone! It is so sad.

I feel for your loss, and since I rented a bike to go see the lava flows, I’m curious now weather coincidentally it was one of your bikes?! We’ll never know of course.

Well, I’m very interested in the various learning methods and tools for healing that you write about. I’ll be back soon!

    Best wishes, Phil

    • Aloha Phil!
Thank you so much for your compassion, Phil! Yes, many beautiful places are gone, like the Green Lake, the Warm Ponds, the Tide Pools and many others. Many people lost their home, and like us, their business.

If you have rented a bike by Jeff’s Bikes, by the guys in blue t-shirts then you have rented by us. It is so much fun to think about this possibility!

Now after the eruption is over there are new places to discover, Phil. In Pohoiki there are two awesome beaches, brand new, beautiful that you can access easily. The eruption created 7 new beaches. They are right now about eight months old.

It was breathtaking to step the very first time on those sacred places. I buried my hands in the sand that no other hand ever touched. This was so touching! You need to visit and see it. You will be amazed.

Thank you very much for visiting my website. I’m looking forward to hearing more from you too! Pleases, let me know if you have any questions or how I can support you on your way!
      Sending Love and Light!
      Aloha back to you!
      Jenna

  5. Definitely, I rented from someone in a blue t-shirt. What a fun coincidence! 🙂

I remember very well the Tide Pools, I enjoyed the warm water so much! Too bad they are gone, but thanks for showing the perspective that this is only part of Nature’s flow and that new awesome experiences, new beaches and eventually new jungles, perhaps after much time, have sprung out of the chaos.

Yes, I have questions about another article… I’ll write to you there…

    Mahalo, Jenna!

    Phil

    • WOW! Then you rented by us, Phil! 🙂 🙂 🙂 Only us wore blue t-shirts. This is such fun! And now we met here! But you also know that there are NO coincidences. We have chosen to meet again for a good reason.
Yes! This is the process of creation. A new land gets born and then the ferns are the first plants that grow on the lava. On Big Island, you can watch this amazing process of creation by nature!

Thank you very much, Phil! I’m curious and looking forward to your questions!
      Sending Love and Light!
      Aloha from Big Island, Jenna

  6. It seems like my comment on the other article didn’t get recorded, and I’ll have to retype it! Soon… What happened is that I worked at a public library, and when I clicked “Post Comment”, I was brought to a page saying your website isn’t secure, and I proceeded to accept to visit the website, but this was forbidden by some library policy. I left it at that, but I can only conclude that my message never made it!

    • Thank you very much, Phil, for returning and taking care for your comment! This is very kind and it impresses me! Thank you!
I received your comment! Thank you a lot for that! But I approved it a day later. I’m looking forward to replying to it! I’m wondering about the notification at the library. They may have a certain policy for commercial websites. I just checked the lock and the protocol of the website and all is fine. However, thank you very much for letting me know. And the good thing I saved up for the end: You don’t need to retype!! Woohoo! Retyping or redoing the same thing is for me a kind of punishment 😉
      Sending much Love your way!
      Aloha, Jenna
