Breathing Meditation

We all desire to feel safe. Don’t we? The feeling of fear is human basic emotion that makes us able to survive. In our time we mostly don’t need to fear being eaten by wild animals.

However, our world is full of dangers in different areas of life like being at the wrong place at the wrong time when something bad happens, losing a beloved person or pet, losing a job or business, getting sick, getting betrayed, not being well prepared for an examination, public speaking, coming to late, forget an important appointment.

How often do we desire to simply feel safe and accepted completely in the way as we are? How often do we desire to be at the place where we can let go and simply be.

Good news is there is such a place. That place is very close to you. To be precise, it is in you, in your inner, in your heart and in your imagination.

Being able to imagine a thing, activity or emotion means being able to project it into our three-dimensional world and to manifest it.

The Place of Safety is a meditation that helps you to create such an idea and a feeling of absolute security and well-being.

The Place of Safety is rather an activity than it is really a place. However, after you created it once in your inner, you can always go back there and rest in tranquility.

This place will always be there for you. There you can feel secure, doesn’t matter what happens in your life.

Would you like to have such a place where you can always go there doesn’t matter what?

If your answer is no. Stop reading here.

But if your answer is yes, the following lines will guide you to your Place of Security.

First off, find a good place where you can feel comfortable. You will need about 15-20 minutes for the first time. So, it is important that you can be undisturbed. With some practice, you will be able to create your Place of Security in a few minutes or even seconds.

It Is up to You to Feel Secure

Go to your favorite place where you can relax easily and sit or lay down. Have a blanket handy if you tend to get cold easily.
If you have chosen the sitting position for your meditation, make sure your diaphragm is free and can lift and sink without effort.

Make also sure the room isn’t too bright and too noisy. You may like a piece of soft music in the background. You may like to light a candle or salt lamp and bring your focus to the flame or soft light.

Take in the soft yellow-golden light.

Now close your eyes. Let all worries go! Dismiss them for now. If you desire, you can catch up later with them. Now let all your thoughts go. Let them go.

You can place them in the cars passing by. You can toss them in the wind and let the wind carry them away.

You can place them on the clouds moving slowly over the blue sky. Or let the rain wash them away.

Your mind maybe won’t be quiet even for a few seconds.

But this is ok.

Let every next incoming worry or thought go as it comes.

After you established the releasing of worries and thoughts, you are ready, to begin with, the breathing. You will inhale through the top of your head and exhale through the bottom of your soles. This way to breathe is called in Hawaiian Pika Pika – breathing from peak to peak – and is a part of the Hawaiian Huna.

You are sitting or lying comfortably. Your thoughts are passing by.

Start now to inhale slowly and consciously. While you inhale, imagine fresh air entering through the top of your head filling you with fresh energy and peace. Let this air circulate in your body cleansing everything that doesn’t serve you anymore, flashing out toxins and bad memories.

Fill your body with the fresh air like a beautiful vessel. Then exhale through the bottom of your feet, releasing waste and unsupportive energy as a gray smoke.

Do this ten times, or as long you like and see the gray or grayish smoke coming out of your soles.
(In the following sessions could it be enough that you can repeat the breathing for five or even only three times. But for the first time, please, do the cleansing.)

Take your time.

You will go on an expedition now. You will look for a place where you feel secure. Your place of security.
A place where you feel completely comfortable.
A place where nothing and nobody can frighten you.
A place where you can completely relax and recover.

Let Go all Your Worries!

Let your thoughts go and see what places come to your mind.
What first comes to your mind spontaneously? What kind of place could that be? Every place is possible.
Your subconscious mind can freely choose what it should look like there.
You can have everything you need in that place to make you feel good. There are no limits.

You can choose the place as you like it.
It is only important that you feel really comfortable there, that this place is really pleasant for you.

Tell me, which kind of place could that be? Please, describe it in all details in your mind.
What do you see there?
What do you hear?
Do you smell or taste anything?

Please, make that place as vivid as possible.

How do you feel there? Please, feel all feelings of tranquility and security as intense as possible.
Your subconscious mind will associate all those feelings with feelings in your three-dimensional or so-called “real” life.
Please, paint out every detail.
Take your time.

Done? Great job!!

From now on this place is always available to you.

I recommend practicing the meditation every day and spend some time at that place you created. Every time you go there, it will become easier and easier to summon and enter it.
You have developed it in your imagination and anchored it deep in your subconscious mind.

Whenever you feel uncomfortable, you can enter your place of security.
Just imagine, you are there, at your secure place, and you will be there.

And just this idea of this place will trigger feelings of security in you.
Feelings of calm, feelings of well-being and feelings of contentment.

Just by thinking of your secure place, you can solve feelings of fear. You can also solve the feeling of anger.
And of course, the more you practice the better you become.
Thank you for applying this breathing meditation.
